Sampy – Enjoy Samples, Delivered Free.

Sampy wanted to reach South Asians to inform and invite them to get ethnic food samples from their online platform. The aim was to target South Asians only and make it easy for them to request it with one click or a touch.

Another challenge was to cut the noise and ensure that only South Asians (SA) click on the ads to minimize irrelevant clicks and cost. Anecdotally, the SA relate to Bollywood blockbusters and popular Hindi movies have a high recall.

Opal built a three-pronged ad campaign including digital advertising, South Asian Influencers and publications partnership programs. We used Bollywood movies names in the ads for SA to relate and respond. Facebook, Instagram and display ads channels were used. We kept tight targeting by partnering with South Asian influencers and publications to promote the brand on their platforms. The campaign resulted in 29% conversion.
